Website Project Week 2

I've been catching up on work from last week which I have now done and going to hand into the teacher for marking, now I shall work on my thumnails, and going to my concept sketches in the weekend

Website Project Week 1

So far i've finished my brief and almost have finished my Gantt Chart, and my Reseach, but I still have to to my thumbnail sketches.

Next Week I shall meet with my client, and show them my thumbnail sketches, and see which one they like best and what I can improve on.

Tools in InDesign

Bleed: Is a border around the A4 page that help images reach the edge of the paper without the page having a white border


Paragraph Styles: Paragraph Styles is an easier way of changing the font, colour, size, and effects on the text of the text


Pen Tool: The Pen Tool is and easier way of making straight lines and curves


Text Wrap: Text Wrap is when you but the text around the image, and also when you use Detecting Edges the text goes up to the image


Text on a Path: Text on Path is when the text follows a path that you have drawn, e.g; If you draw a circle the text will go in a circle

Gantt Chart

This is my Gantt Chart for Unit Standard 2788 Version 5 Achievement Standard 90032

Brief-Unit Standard 2788 Version 5 Achievement Standard 90032

For this project we are making a 3 fold booklet containing information about the dangers of alcohol.

We have to make this booklet so it appeals to teenagers. By doing that we need to get information from a range of sources e.g. Books, Magazines, newspapers, pamphlets etc, and but the information into our own words so then the reader won't get bored. Also we need to add interesting images so that he reader become interested in the booklet.

Also we are using PhotoShop and Indesign for this project

Evaluation

I've finished my designer profile........Yay ^_^



I thought it looked good because it showed the designer's design style well.

I don't know if my client liked it because they didn't talk to me much -_-
So it was hard to tell if they liked it or not.

Sorry that the evaluation is a bit late, i'll try to write stuff in my blog quicker

I learnt how to make your background the fill colour of your font

I made the fill darker so it was easier to read

InDesign

We did a tutorial for InDesign

We learnt basic things about InDesign and I hope to learn more about Indesign to make my profile look better

Brief-Designer Profile

I am making a one page profile on Matt. Matt likes Graffiti Art, Basketball, Snowboarding and Soccer. He likes Rap music and his favourite food is Pizza. Also in the profile I am going to write about Matt's designing style. I am going to use Photoshop and Indesign to create this profile.
